SoftInWay has scheduled the next free webinar on turbomachinery retrofitting techniques used to increase efficiency using AxSTREAM. The webinar will be held on April 28, 2011, at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. EST.



The SoftInWay team will present the full redesign process to the attendees: starting from analyzing scanned data and determining profile characteristics, followed with 1D/2D analysis of existing flow path, evaluation and selection of sections which require redesign and finally the design of new and efficient airfoils.

SoftInWay invites engineers to take part in free 1-hour webinar "Design of High Efficiency Steam Turbine in AxSTREAM" that will take place on Thursday, October 21, 2010, at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. EST.



The webinar demonstrates the steps of steam turbine design on 1D/2D level, with particular focus on influence of different factors on turbine efficiency at the following stages of design:



- 1D Preliminary design and optimization: number of stages, geometrical and structural constraint

SoftInWay Inc. continues the online training series on turbomachinery design and announces the schedule for the second part of 2010:

On May 27, 2010, at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. EST SoftInWay will hold free webinar "AxSTREAM 3.0: Design of Multispool Axial Compressor. From Specification to 3D Blade Design".



In the course of the 1-hour online presentation, the SoftInWay team will showcase the new features of AxSTREAM 3.0 for multispool compressors, namely:



1.  Ability to assess multiple criteria to choose the optimal flow path design.

2.  Flow path geometry adjustment according to designer's goals (using manual and S1 adjustment and spline).

On April 15, 2010, at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. EST SoftInWay will host free webinar "AxSTREAM Generation 3: New Features for Radial Turbomachines" that will showcase the new features of the AXSTREAM software suite for radial turbines and centrifugal compressors. The presentation is followed by an open forum where SoftInWay's experts will answer the attendees' questions.
