Postdoc position on Mechanical Testing at High Temperatures using DIC

I have a postdoc position available immediately in my research group (https://engineering.rowan.edu/dehub/). The position offers very competitive salary and it relates to an externally funded project on a cutting-edge topic of design optimization of metal parts for aerospace applications. The interested candidates must have a demonstrated capability to perform mechanical testing coupled with optical metrology and need to have good understanding of computational modeling. A postdoc position is available in the Theoretical & Applied Mechanics Group (http://tamg.mem.drexel.edu/). Of particular interest are expertise in subcontinuum and continuum computational mechanics methods. Available researh projects include both alloy and composite material systems.

Faculty Position in Sub-continuum Computational Mechanics - Drexel University, MEM Dept.

The Mechanical Engineering and Mechanics Department at Drexel University is seeking to fill multiple tenure-track faculty positions starting fall of 2013. Priority will be given to candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas:

1. Computational Solid Mechanics: Specific areas include, but are not limited to, emerging computational methods with emphasis on sub-continuum scale simulations and high performance computing for multiscale mechanics of novel materials.
