Md Ershadul Alam's picture

Dear All:

Greetings. I’m Dr. Md Ershadul Alam, got PhD from National University of Singapore (NUS) in Materials Science of Mechanical Engineering Department in 2010. Currently I’m working at Qatar University, Qatar in a collaborative project (with NUS) titled: “Development of Lightweight Magnesium based nanocomposites”.

I have good experience working on different projects (i.e. lead-free solder, CO2 utilization and light metal nanocomposites) and like to explore more field to enrich my knowledge. I have experience on synthesization (powder metallurgy, casting, hydraulic extrusion, compaction, sintering etc) and characterization (i.e. density and porosity measurements, XRD, EDS, optical microscopy, SEM, FESEM, TEM, Microhardness, Tension and compression test, corrosion, resistivity test, aging etc.) techniques. So far I’ve published more than 22 international journal and conference papers with 2 US provisional Patent applications and five (5) more have been submitted to high ranked journals. I have also taught ABET accredited undergraduate courses at Qatar University. Currently I'm looking for a post doctoral research position.  My resume can be found as attachment or visiting my website (http://sites.google.com/site/ershadulalam/). Publication lists are also given below in the comment section.I've attached my resume with this email. Thanks a lot for your attention.
