Instabilities in Material Behaviors
Dear Zhigang,
Two phenomena, catastrophic fracture and catastrophic interface debonding, that I studies may be useful as references for your lecture on instabilities.
Regards,
Henry.
Notes on instabilities
Dear Henry: Thank you for the tip. I'll follow it up.
I've been working on these notes for the past few weeks. I'm not happy with them yet, but I've run out of time. Today is the last day of the class. I think that I've collected some useful material, and hope these notes will help others learn or teach the subject.
I'll improve the notes when I have time, hopefully before I teach the course next time, possibly two years from now!
