Ph. D and Post-doc positions are open for Fall 2018 and Spring 2019 in ‘Mechanics, Biomimetic, and 3D Printing’ research lab in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of New Hampshire (UNH). 
The students will work on research projects funded by National Science Foundation (CAREER award) and Department of Defense/Air Force Office of Scientific Research under the supervision of Professor Yaning Li. 
Professor Li got her Ph.D degree from the University of Michigan Ann Arbor, B.S. and M.S degrees from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Before joining UNH in 2012, she worked as postdoc associate at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) for four and half years. More information can be found at:

Students with background in solid and structure mechanics, mechanics of materials, finite element simulations, and mechanical experiments are encouraged to apply.
