The deadline for abstract submissions is April 30, 2008. </p> <p> The aim of the <em>Experimental Multi-Scale Mechanics </em>symposium is as follows: </p> <p> A key question when probing the mechanics of materials is the effect and the extent of interactions between the atomic through continuum length scales. The goal of this symposium is to provide a forum for the discussion of recent experimental techniques and findings in the multi-scale investigations of the mechanics of materials.
