Hi Xue Feng,

Are you seeing these problems after the system upgrade, or were you seeing them before? During the times when you cannot access it, do you get a blank page, an error message or is it logging in that is giving you a problem? If you remember the last time this happened - can you tell me what time that was? This will help me pinpoint where in the system logs to look at. Thanks!

I can not visit imechanica

I can not visit imechanica properly in China. Some times I can access to it, sometime I can not. Just report this to you. I am not sure this results from the system upgrade.

I've upgraded the number of CPUs on the server that hosts iMechanica. If anyone notices any performance problems as a result of this, please let me know.

iMechanica System Upgrade

As many of you are already aware, iMechanica has become quite popular. As a result of this, the system that hosts iMechanica is experiencing high CPU utilization at various times throughout the day when there are many users accessing the site. In order to keep the site more stable, I am planning to increase the number of CPUs on the system tonight at 10pm EST. Please be aware that this will mean the site will be unavailable for about 30 minutes while I am performing the upgrade. Please let me know if you have any questions about this or if you notice any problems with the site after the upgrade.
