How to use VSWEEP command in ANSYS11

Dear all,

As a beginner Ansys user, I face a problem of VSWEEP command in ANSYS11, I hope to be got help form you.In my case, I want to mesh an imported volume with an existed meshed volume in ANSYS. From Ansys11, the VSWEEP command could be used for meshing a volume by basing on a meshed source area, and I applied this command. The interface area between the VSWEEP volume and the existed meshed volume is chosen as a meshed source area. However, I got a warning: "The volume canot be swept because the specified source area is not attached to it. The VSWE command is ignored". I could not know how to solve this problem.
