i m struggling to model pzt in abaqus. when i meshed and submitted the job, it aborted giving the message that anisotropic material requires local coordinate system to be assigned for elements. i dunno how to do this. is the equation in constraint related to this?

wat is the purpose of equation option in constrain? the description givewn is not clear.

while doing pzt analysis should i ve to do it in multiple steps?

ma first&amp;nbsp;problem is to capture the response of pzt while applying 100V alone. I m not applying any other mech load along with it.
&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;
ma second problem is to attach this pzt element to a curvewd plate and to obtain the response along with mechanical transverse load on the plate. please do help me in either proceeding with ma problem...
