Dear Chinese students interested in a PhD in computational mechanics,

You will find below some information on a fellowship you can apply for.

China Scholarships Council

*Information:* This scholarship programme, which is overseen by China
Scholarship Council (affiliated to the Chinese Ministry of Education), was
approved in early 2007. Between 2007 and 2011, CSC will fund 5,000 Chinese
university students annually to study overseas for a Phd degree. The aim of
the programme is to sponsor first-class Chinese students to study for Phd
degrees in science and technology fields at first-class universities
overseas.

*Value:* The scholarships cover air fares and living costs for up to 4
years. The University of Glasgow has agreed to waive tuition fees for CSC
students from our partner universities who meet the entry requirements and
are accepted for PhD study. The following Faculties have agreed the
following scholarships:

Don't hesitate to get back to me with details. Note that you need to be an exceptional candidate to have a chance in this programme.
