this is palash dewangan from NIT ROURKELA(OR) INDIA, currently pursuing mtech in machine design & analysis.

regarding my thesis , i m trying to do a finite elemnt simulation of passive constrained viscoelastic layer damping treatment of a cantilever beam.

cud u please guide me regarding this topic & send me a ansys tutorial for the same.

i would de gratefull to u for that kind deed.

apart from that.........i want to know the recruitment process of that company in which u r currently working.

Recently (July2008) i have submitted my phd thesis titled " static,dynamic, damping and vibro-acoustic analysis of thin-walled structures by the use of FEM and BEM" at Indian Institute of Technology Madras.

Currently i am working for Satyam-Venture Engg services ltd., as a sr.analyst in the domain of NVH CAE.

I am looking for the R&D position in the area of CAE based static and dynamic analysis of engineering structures
