Postdoc Position in Melbourne - Multiscale Materials Modelling

A postdoctoral fellowship in the area of multiscale materials modelling is available at the CSIRO Division of Manufacturing and Materials Technology in Melbourne, Australia. The primary purpose of the project is developing models describing the mechanical behaviour of light alloys on the Al, Mg and Ti basis at various length scales, starting from molecular dynamics simulations through to dislocation dynamics and microstructural interactions at the grain, grain boundary and macroscopic plasticity scales. A particular emphasis is placed on ultrafine grained light alloys. Details of the position and a description of the application procedure can be found on the CSIRO website: http://recruitment.csiro.au/asp/job_details.asp?RefNo=2007%2F281

Further information relating to the position can be provided by Prof. Yuri Estrin (see contact details below).
