Greetings and Updates from ICTAM2012

Dear Colleague,

We are pleased to send you the updates on the 23rd International Congress of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (ICTAM2012) of the International Union of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (IUTAM) that will be held in Beijing, August 19-24, 2012.

Following the announcement of the winners of the G. K. Batchelor Prize in Fluid Mechanics and the Rodney Hill Prize in Solid Mechanics by IUTAM, the information of all the invited lectures including the Opening and Closing Lectures, the two Prize Lectures, the Sectional Lectures, and the Introductory Lectures of the Mini-Symposia is announced on the Congress website http://www.ictam2012.org/.

Lunches for 5 days of the Congress will be provided and covered in the registration fee.

Please note that submission of papers to ICTAM2012 on the Congress website is open until January 09, 2012, and the application for financial support from the Congress is open until January 18, 2012.
