How to create submodel using Abaqus scripting?

Good day. I need to add a feature to create submodel in my script. The shape of submodel is parallepiped and I want to find the simplest way to do this. I have read Scripting Users Manual but I can't understand how to remove unused parts of the model. Please I need your help. Thanks

The Abaqus/CAE User's manual has a pretty good section on submodeling. See section 38.
Abaqus submodeling is pretty good in general. It does all of the translation of BCs from global to local for you, and will interpolate if the submodel mesh is more refined. Overall, pretty easy to do.
I'm not sure how this aligns with scripting, but once you have done it interactively, you can probably figure out how to script the procedure.
