Open PhD or Postdoc Positions - Ferroic Functional Materials

The Institute of Mechanics, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, TU Dortmund University, Germany, is looking for two scientific researchers (m/f) to start work from the next possible date for a preliminary period of one year with the option of renewal. The scope of the PhD projects is working on one of the sub-projects of a research group on "Ferroic Functional Materials – Multi-scale Modeling and Experimental Characterisation". One of the PhD projects is entitle "Numerical relaxation for the description of the development of micro-structures in functional magnetic materials" and the other PhD project is entitled "Micro-structural interactions and switching in ferro-electrics". Applications from graduate post-docs are also most welcome.
