ABAQUS CAE-Spring orientation

hi Everybody would anyone know, after placing springs on a arc shaped model, how to make sure that my springs (in direction 1 (x) and 2(y)) are actually positioned in the LOCAL coordinate system.. I am getting wrong results, and I think it is because my springs are in GLOBAL coordinate system. How can I change spring orientation so that DOF 1 follows axial line , and DOF 2 is perpendicular to it?

thank you, and happy Friday

I don't know if my problem is related to yours but in my case, once I invoke *orientation in materials I get unexpected results from the spring.
