Dear Colleagues,

NUMISHEET 2014 (http://www.numisheet2014.org) will be held at “Hilton on the Park” in Melbourne,
Australia January 6-10, 2014. On behalf of this conference, we would like to invite you to submit an
abstract to the following mini-symposium:

New and established standard test methods for sheet metals, and their
"off-label use" in research

This mini-symposium (organized by
Mark A. Iadicola, mark.iadicola@nist.gov and Yannis
P. Korkolis, yannis.korkolis@unh.edu)
will cover topics associated with existing and proposed/potential standard
mechanical properties test methods (such as forming limit, r-value, biaxial
properties, anisotropy, etc.), measurement techniques (such as Digital Image
Correlation) as well as the interpretation and analysis of the results.
Also included is the augmented use of the test methods as the basis of other
research related studies (e.g. heated forming limit curves, instantaneous r or
n-values, use of standard sample geometries for other testing scenarios).

Abstracts should be sent to both paper@numisheet2014.org and the
symposium organizers (mark.iadicola@nist.gov
and yannis.korkolis@unh.edu)
by May 01, 2013. The abstract form can be downloaded at "paper
submission" menu in the website.

We look forward to your participation, and please feel free to share this
information with your colleagues.

Best Regards,
Mark Iadicola and Yannis Korkolis
