CSC Positions at Cardiff University in Computational Mechanics - CSC in Computational Mechanics

Cardiff School of Engineering invites applications for support for China Scholarship Council award holders.  The awards will cover tuition fees at the overseas rate for 3 years for applicants who secure a China Scholarship Council award to cover living costs.

Potential students are required to email Julie Cleaver (Admissions) Julie Cleaver <cleaverj@cardiff.ac.uk> and their potential supervisors (see below for a list), a CV, brief description of the proposed research project; details of any research publications (if appropriate); and the name of a proposed supervisor (if already discussed with a member of staff).

  Supervisors:

lars beex <BeexL@cardiff.ac.uk> : Quasi-continuum method and fibrous materials

Siva <KulasegaramS@cf.ac.uk> : meshfree methods for flow and fracture of heterogenous materials

Pierre Kerfriden <KerfridenP@cardiff.ac.uk> : multiscale and model reduction methods for fracture of heterogeneous materials

"BordasS@cardiff.ac.uk" <BordasS@cardiff.ac.uk> : advanced discretisation techniques for free boundary problems
