Modeling Buckling with large Elasto-Plastic and Elasto-Viscoplastic Deformation in ABAQUS

Hello Everyone,

I am trying to do a layered model - composite beam/plate in ABAQUS that can incorporate buckling with large elasto-plastic and elasto-viscoplasic deformation. I have tried with simple case of isotropic plate under buckling and that worked well. I am thinking to make a rectangular plate partitioned with 3 layers which can be treated as fiber-matrix-fiber respectively. The boundary conditions can be applied as a displacement on two edges (uniformly distributed) i.e. left and right. Can anybody have idea of treating this model in more simpler way? or please suggest me any relevant material that can be followed to model non linear buckling with large elasto-plastic and visco-plastic deformations.

Thanks,

Jay Patel
