How to Design and Optimize Axial Turbines and Compressors Stages Webinar | 27 May

This one hour free webinar will present design and optimization approaches for systematic design of high performance axial turbines and compressor stages. During the session we will highlight the key advantages of using 3D Inverse Design and TURBOdesign Suite for the design and optimization of all axial rotors and stators, including unique component and stage matching capabilities to help shorten the design times and costs, while achieving high efficiency and reliability.

During the webinar we will highlight three design cases:

  • Initial 3D blade design for an axial LP turbine stator and rotor stage, covering key features of the 3D Inverse Design to specify, control and achieve required streamwise and spanwise loadings
  • Rapid multidisciplinary design optimization of LP turbine blades to achieve desired aerodynamic and mechanical performances
  • Multipoint design and optimization of a HP compressor stage for improved stage performances across the complete operating range

The webinar will conclude on ease of application of 3D Inverse Design and TURBOdesign Suite for all types of axial blades, facilitation of transfer of design know-how between teams and projects and integration within well established design and optimization processes to reduce development times, costs and achieve superior stage performances.
