Fully funded PhD positions are available to work in any area of theoretical solid mechanics. The candidate will officially be associated with the Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Hyderabad, India.

Strong mathematical background.

Excellent grades during Bachelors and/or Masters programme.

Compensation:
Monthly stipend of Rs. 25000 for first two years and Rs. 28000 thereafter.

Graduates of Mathematics/Physics/Material Science, Mechanical/Civil/Aerospace Engineering or any related discipline may apply.
