We plan to recruit a full time postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Southampton to start in early 2016 for the duration of 2.5 years. This multidisciplinary project focuses on design and integration of a multi-sensor system for medical device applications. Through implementing and exploiting these systems, he/she will also carry out scientific studies on biomechanical understanding and disseminate findings through journal publications and conference presentations.
Candidates with general mechatronics background are suitable. Experience in any of the following areas are desirable including instrumentation, control, embedded systems, design & computing, programming, sensor systems, signal/image processing, vision based systems etc.
