About the conference

Following the success of the previous ACMFMS series in Matsue, Nanjing, New Delphi and Nara, the 5th Asian Conference on Mechanics of Functional Materials and Structures (ACMFMS 2016) will be held in Shanghai, China, in October 14-17, 2016. Following the tradition of this conference series, this multidisciplinary conference brings together scientists, researchers and engineers in the fundamental materials science, processing and fabrication, and engineering applications of functional materials. The
symposium will cover a broad spectrum of key topics related to energy, environmental, biomedical, electronic and nanostructure materials. 

This conference provides an ideal platform and excellent opportunity for researchers and experts in functional materials to exchange research ideas and practical experiences.
