Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a DST-Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) sponsored project titled "Fracture Analysis of Functionally Graded Materials (FGMs) by coupled FE-Meshfree Method" under the Investigator, Dr. Himanshu Pathak, in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, School of Engineering, Shiv Nadar University. The position is temporary and is available immediately. Initially the candidate will be hired for one year. The extension will be provided on the basis of his satisfactory performance. Deserving Project Fellow can be considered for Ph.D. degree if he/she meets all the requirements of SNU PhD selection process as per the university norms.
Essential Qualification: Master’s degree (M.Tech./M.E.) in Machine Design/ CAD/Computational Engineering with minimum 55% marks from a recognized University OR Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical with minimum 60% marks along with a valid Gate score.
Fellowship: Rs. 25,000 (consolidated) (year I & II); Rs. 28,000 (consolidated) per month (year III), as per SERB norms.
Duration of the Project: 3 years.
Applications with complete bio-data (with details of qualification i.e. examination passed, year, division, percentage of marks from 10th board onwards, and photocopies of mark sheets/ testimonials/certificates) should be sent by email (or by post) to reach the following office on or before 25th June 2016.
