Job Description Summary:

• Design and implementation of a system incorporating multiple solver codes in a new solver sub-system.  Duties include designing the interfaces for solver data exchange, designing the interfaces for the current solver’s capabilities, system integration of the solver sub-system, unit testing and integration of existing solvers.
• Plan and lead technical software development activities, including requirements gathering, design, coding, task cards, maintenance, and unit testing. 
• Identify and implement effective processes and procedures for accomplishing work.
• Encourage open expression of ideas and opinions; listen effectively.
• Use informal networks to get things done; use other expert resources when appropriate.
• Produce high quality products/components with agreed-to features on committed delivery dates.  Ensure projects are completed on time and according to corporate quality standards.
• Other job related duties as may be assigned by management from time to time.

Minimum Requirements:

• 5+ years programming experience in C++, C#, and the .NET framework
• Experience with the following additional  languages:  Java, HTML, XML
• BS in Engineering or Computer Science and at least 4-6 years related experience.
• Strong software design skills required
• Multi-thread code writing experience desirable
• Engineering experience in finite element technologies and related fields desirable
• Knowledgeable about current software development technologies and trends.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, decision making skills.
• Possesses skills to work well in an open, multi-discipline, intense team environment. Communicative and articulate in both verbal and written mediums
