Job Description:
- Marketing/Business Plans - Create a yearly operational plan and a long-term vision for maximizing revenue and managing the ANSYS mechanical product's life cycle.
- Promote Products - Lead sales force in creating product/sales strategies for key accounts. Present ANSYS products and company benefits at customer meetings, user conferences, tradeshows, conference calls, and WebEx presentations.
- Establish Product Requirements - Continuously gather requirements from customers and use this information to prioritize development projects.
- Manage Launch Activities - Insure that the mechanical products (features/quality) and internal documentation are ready for FCS.
- Analyze Revenue Performance - Understand geographical and organizational sales trends for products. Adjust promotion plan accordingly and establish/modify pricing.
- Provide Direction on Design Issues - Serve the role of the customer when interacting with development on design issues during the product development process.
- Create Sales Guides/Sales Presentations/Sales Support- Provide sales support material to train and motivate the sales force. Provide sales support through telephone and email.
- Web Site Content Creation - Communicate product features, benefits and applications.
- Monitor Competitive Landscape - Understand competitive products in the marketplace, their strengths, and develop a product/marketing strategy for the ANSYS sales force to win.
- Partner Product Opportunities - Look for partner technologies that can complement ANSYS products and open new market opportunities.
- Other job related duties that may be assigned by management from time to time.
Minimum Requirements:
- Master's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or related field.
- Five years of work experience in an engineering field.
- Sales and/or marketing experience desirable.
- Experience with ANSYS mechanical simulation applications desired.
- Effective written and oral communication.
- Ability to travel 20%.
