Assistant or Associate Professor position at the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering, TU Delft, The Netherlands

A new tenure-track faculty position is available in the group of Aerospace Structures and Computational Mechanics (ASCM) at the faculty of Aerospace Engineering of Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands. Candidates will be considered at the assistant or associate professor level depending on experience. All areas of aerospace structures and computational mechanics will be considered, including, but not limited to, damage of composite structures, buckling and post-buckling phenomena, crashworthiness, optimization, multi-functional structures, multi-scale and multi-physics analysis methods, and development and applications in aeronautics and space. ASCM seeks candidates who conduct research in theory, modelling and simulation as well as in testing of aerospace structures.
