Postdoctoral Researcher Position in Material Informatics and Design of Polymer Nanocomposite Systems, Department of Mechanical Engineering Northwestern University, Evanston, IL.

A postdoctoral researcher position is open in the Integrated Design Automation Laboratoryjointly with the Advanced Materials Laboratory at Northwestern University under the guidance of Prof. Wei Chen and Prof. Cate Brinson.  The postdoctoral researcher will work on material informatics and systematic computational design methods that support the creation of a data resource for analysis and design of polymer nanocomposite systems under the Material Genome concept.  A background in data analytics, integrated computational materials engineering, and computational methods for material design is preferred. Computer programming and web-development skills are highly desirable.
