Research scientist in computational mechanics of composite materials at Institute of High Performance Computing, A*STAR, Singapore

We are looking for capable and responsible candidates for a Research Scientist position in Computational Mechanics of Composite Materials:

• PhD in Mechanical Engineering / Materials Science

• Strong background in Mechanics of Composite Materials (CFRP, GFRP, Nanocomposites, and/or CMCs)

• Specialization in Computational Mechanics, Materials Modeling, and/or Multi-scale Methods

• Expertise in Linear and Nonlinear Finite Element Analysis 

• Good coding skills for  Scientific Computing  

Job requirements:

• Proficient in using commercial finite element tools such as ABAQUS, ANSYS, and/or NASTRAN

• Proficient in programming skills in these languages (C/C++, Fortran, Python etc.)

• Possess good publication track record

• Possess good interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
