JPDH views about SPT
Wonderfully written on such great lives which has shaped the world of Mechanics. I have used books by both the stalwarts and it never occured to me they were interrelated. The article indeed brings the camarederie between the two despite the Japie's criticism of Prof. Timoshenko. One will need to go through the autobio to understand it more closely. Why Prof. Timoshenko chose to display almost nil gratitude towards USA must be better known to him, however, the world will forever be thankful to the duo for their contributions.
