Title Seeking a motivated Ph.D. student
Employer/Location: The Center of Natural Resources at New Jersey Institute of Technology, NJ, USA

The Center for Natural Resources led by Professor Michel Boufadel is seeking highly motivated Ph.D. students in the general area of fluid dynamics to conduct research related to the behavior of oil and water at various scales (microns to meters).  The work would be mostly numerical, but some experimental work would be needed. The research applies to the oil spills, such as the Deepwater Horizon oil spill.

Ideal candidates should have a bachelor degree (preferably a master degree) in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering or a related engineering field. The candidate should have good communication skills, willing-to-learn attitude, and solid knowledge of fluid mechanics and mathematics.  

The candidate should be able to meet the graduate school admission requirements of New Jersey Institute of Technology (GPA/GRE/TOEFL, https://www.njit.edu/graduatestudies/index.php)

Prior experience in CFD modeling and coding is an asset but not required.
