Postdoc position in crystal plasticity model of additive manufacturing at the National University of Singapore

Dr. Wentao Yan's group at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, National University of Singapore, focuses on metal additive manufacturing: computational modeling, experimental validation and data analytics.

We have an immdiate opening for a postdoctoral fellow (required to assume duty before March 1st). The project is mainly focused on developing a novel finite element model of thermal stress for metallic additive manufacturing (3D printing). Expertise on crystal plasticity and capability of developing ABAQUS subroutines (especially UMAT) are required. The initial contract will be 1 year, and can be extended on mutual agreement.

Please send a detailed CV (including but not limited to: education background and publication list) to mpeyanw@nus.edu.sg, if you are interested in the position. More details about Dr. Yan and the group can be found in http://me.nus.edu.sg/staff.php?id=5453 and http://blog.nus.edu.sg/yanwt/
