Dear Paul,

Normally, I would have begun by thanking you for posting a job ad. But, the circumstances I have been forced to live in are not normal; American companies *have* been *a* part of those who are responsible for creating the situation; you can't expect me to evade this, would you? (BTW, I don't understand why Americans habitually drop the article "a" before "part" in their English writing.)

I could write a novel-length book if I wanted to. (There is enogh of material.) But enough to say that I have noticed Americans' attempt to point out the combination of the words "Howard" and "Champion" together in front of my eye balls. Howard, as in the hero of Ayn Rand's novel "The Fountainhead."

Please leave the above paragraph alone if you don't understand it and please answer this simple question:

Would you consider a 45 year old Indian male without a green card or a valid US visa in his hand and with PhD (thesis submitted) for this job?

Thanks in advance for answering the question.

-- Ajit

PS: If you thought that Maharashtra's and India's IT ministers were also a part of those who are responsible (for the situation of unemployment that I find myself in), you would be right. Also, the Indian companies. But honestly, I also fail to understand how does the completeness in enumeration really matter towards willingness to actually give me a paying job. Anyway, forget this part as well. To reiterate, I would appreciate if you answer the above query.
