A Postdoc position in Complexity Science of Multiscale Materials via Cyber-Enabled Computations is open in Professor Wing Kam Liu's group at the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Northwestern University. The candidate must have a PhD degree in either Computational Mechanical Science, Computational Mechanics, or closely related fields. We are particularly interested in a person who have good commend of written and spoken English, strong background in 3D nonlinear finite elements and meshfree methods, nonlinear constitutive equations, parallel computations in scientific Fortran and C/C++ and MPI.
