PhD Graduate Student Positions in Ultrasonics at the Ohio State University
Ph.D. graduate student positions are available in the area of advanced nonlinear and linear acoustics and ultrasonics with applications to material and biological tissue characterization (modeling and experiment). The positions are supported from research grants and are intended for several years. The focus area is an acoustic/ultrasonic study of non-homogenous materials and bio/nano materials. State of the art ultrasonic laboratories and other characterization facilities are available. Strong background in experimental and modeling aspects of linear and nonlinear acoustics/ultrasonics and signal processing is preferable. The candidate will be expected to interact with the activities of the Laboratory for Multiscale Processing and Characterization. More details will be provided to interested individuals.
