Seeking postdoctoral research position on experimental nanomechanics

Dear Sir/Madam:

My name is Chunwang Zhao. I graduated in December of 2007 with a Ph.D. in Solid Mechanics. Professor Yongming Xing is my advisor. My thesis title is Nano-Experimental Mechanics Study on Dislocation and Micro-Crack. My research interest focuses on the experimental nanomechanics, especially in quantitative analysis of nanoscale deformation field. I have some high-resolution transmission electron microscopy(HRTEM) images of crack-tip in silicon. But the deformation fields are differ from the current theory prediction. So I hope to seek an advisor to make an in-depth study on crack tip phenomena at the near-atomic scale. I have experience on operation of TEM. I am familiar with many of experimental nanomechanics research method. So I am seeking an postdoctoral research position on experimental nanomechanics.

The attached files include my CV, a representative paper and a strain field picture of a crack tip superimposed on the original HRTEM image. I am very grateful for your interest. I am looking forward to hearing from you. I welcome you to contact me at zhaocw@imut.edu.cn or cwzhao@yahoo.com.cn .

With best regards

Chunwang Zhao
