Call for papers: STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS & OPTIMISATION

Mechaero Group is a registered charitable trust established (Tamilnadu, India)
in 2004 to foster the link between the industry and academia in the fields of
mechanical and aerospace engineering. One of the key initiatives by this trust
is to publish the Journal of Vehicle Structures: Analysis & Optimisation (JVSAO)
with the following features:

• Works
  specific to structural analysis and optimisation
• Contributions
  from academic researchers, industrial and consultancy Engineers in the
  vehicle structures community.
• Peer
  reviewed papers will be published quarterly.
• Each
  issue will have at least 10 articles on variety of subjects.

The inaugural issue will be available for subscriptions from
March 2009. Call for papers from academic and industry
experts/consultants on their recent research experience on vehicle structures
analysis and optimisation on the following topics:

• Aircraft structures
• Launch vehicle structures
• Un-manned and Micro Aerial vehicles
• Marine vehicle structures
• Spacecraft and reentry vehicle structures
• Analysis methods & techniques
• Trade studies and sensitivity analyses
• Optimisation including applications of MDO
  techniques
• Rapid sizing and integrity assessments

Important Dates
Submission Deadline: 20 January, 2009
Notification of the Initial Review: 26 February, 2009
Final acceptance: 20 March, 2009

These dates
are for the inaugural issue only. Subsequently received papers will be reviewed
periodically and published in the following issues of JVSAO.
