The School of Engineering at University of Edinburgh is seeking to appoint a lecturer with demonstrated research excellence and the capacity to develop academic leadership in his/her
research area. Applications from candidates with a vision for interfacing
between the powerful science and engineering base of the College and industrial
needs, with strengths in interdisciplinary research, theoretical concept
development, and/or experimental research within the broad remit of Engineering
are encouraged to apply. Those with a research interest in Geotechnical
Engineering, Materials, Geo-Environmental Applications or Structures are
particularly welcome to apply. The successful candidate will be expected to
contribute to the teaching of professional geotechnical engineering subjects.
