NSF Workshop On the Emerging Applications and Future Directions of the Boundary Element Method

Sponsored by the National Science Foundation, a workshop on the boundary element method (BEM) will be held on The University of Akron campus (in the suburb of Cleveland, Ohio, USA) during September 1-3, 2010. This workshop composes of a two-day short course on the basics of the BEM and a one-day symposium on the emerging applications and future directions of the BEM. Researchers and engineers around the world and students across the US, including both graduate and undergraduate students, are invited to participate in this workshop. Fellowship support will be given to 15 graduate or undergraduate students from US universities to support them participating this workshop.
