A Workshop on the Recent Developments in the Boundary Element Method

Do you want to learn the boundary element method (BEM) and the latest fast solution methods from the experts around the world? If yes, come and attend the workshop on the BEM in September.

The workshop will be held on the University of Akron campus (in the suburb of Cleveland, Ohio, USA) during September 1-3, 2010. This workshop composes of a two-day short course on the basics of the BEM (boundary integral equation formulations, Green's functions, Galerkin approaches, and the fast multipole methods) and a one-day symposium on the emerging applications and future directions of the BEM. Researchers and engineers around the world and students across the US, including both graduate and undergraduate students, are invited to participate in this workshop. Fellowship support will be given to 15 graduate or undergraduate students from US universities to support them participating this workshop. For more information, click the following link:
