Postdoc Position in Computational Materials Design at JHU

Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Fellow research position in computational materials design at Johns Hopkins University, Department of Civil Engineering.  The Fellow will focus on computational modeling of and optimization design algorithms for multifunctional materials. Code writing ability and strong background in mechanics are required.  Specific knowledge of topology optimization, braided or woven materials/technologies, and/or parallel processing is preferred. Applicants must hold a PhD in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related discipline.
