E-Poster Competition on Composite Materials - FutureComposites 2021, KAUST

Dear Colleagues,

The Composites Heterogeneous Materials Analysis and Simulation (COHMAS) Laboratory at KAUST (King Abdullah University of Science and Technology), Saudi Arabia, is pleased to announce e-poster competition on composite materials.

Winners & Finalists of the 31th Edition of the Annual Robert J. Melosh Competition at Duke University

The winner of the 2019 Robert J. Melosh Medal is Dewen Yushu (University of Notre Dame), who presented the paper "The data-driven multiscale multigrid solver, preconditioner and reduced-order model."

Congratulations also to the other finalists! They are listed below, with their respective papers:

Siddhant Kumar, California Institute of Technology and ETH Zurich "Enhanced local maximum-entropy approximation for stable meshfree simulations;"

The registration of the 2011 edition of our famous Mimics Innovation Awards is open. So, if you have an interesting research project in which Mimics is used, then you can submit this now! Of course, we reward the winners again with 17,500 Euro in total.
