The Czech Technical University in Prague - University Center for Energy Efficient Buildings, offers one postdoctoral positions in the fields of modeling, simulation, assessment, and optimization of multi-functional materials and structures.

As part of the EPSRC project entitled 'Innovative photomechanical approaches in identification of the dynamic mechanical behaviour of materials', two PhD positions are open to EU/UK applicants.

The research group of Design and Simulation of Composites Structures at IMDEA Materials, led by Drs. Carlos González and Cláudio S. Lopes, invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow in the field of multiscale computational mechanics of advanced composites. Candidates with strong background knowledge on computational damage mechanics, model development, and numerical simulation of advanced composite materials and structures are strongly encouraged to apply. Experience in experimental mechanical testing of composites is highly valued.

The Department of Aerospace Engineering Sciences in the College of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Colorado Boulder invites applications for three tenure-track faculty positions in the areas of structures and materials, small satellites, and bioastronautics. The Soft Materials Research Laboratory directed by Professor Qibing Pei in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at University of California, Los Angeles is an interdisciplinary research group developing synthetic polymers and nanocomposites for advanced electronics, electromechanical, and photonic devices. Current research activities include but not limited to dielectric elastomers for muscle-like actuation, bistable electroactive polymers for large-strain rigid-to-rigid actuation, and stretchable electronics.
