I want to combine XFEM and UMAT(about concrete) in ABAQUS

DEAR everyone :

    I want to  combine XFEM and UMAT(about concrete) in ABAQUS,I have some questions about this ,concrete is a Special materials and I have the Constitutive equation about concrete ;Can I use the new constitutive equation and  simulate mixed CONCRETE cracking by XFEM(UEL_XFEM) in ABAQUS,how to combine UEL and UMAT in abaqus, thanks in advance,or you can Recommend  some relative infomation for me

How can I apply the load on the bullwheel groove

Tangential (constant) and normal components


I was thinking to apply the normal load using a prep>loads>define_loads>apply>FUNCTIONS but I'm not good at this option. Is it necessary to define a particular coordinate system?

I am working on the vibratory simulation of engin cooling system. Now
i want to add the component of rubber isolators , the idea is to add
the spring element ,we have tested the dynamic stiffness during range
of 5-100HZ , i konw that in ANSYS we can use the matrix 27 element to define the dynamic stiffness ,but how can i set the values in abaqus or inp files.

Modeling of Cylindrical shells with variable thickness in ABAQUS

I want to model cylindrical shell that it's thickness varies from top to bottom with this function

 h=h0(1-ε cos(θ)) or each arbitrary function that is vary from top to bottom.How can I do this?

crack simulation in shell3D plate, abaqus

i wana to investigate effect of crack in lamb wave propagation in composite plate in abaqus software. to this end, i have modeled a composite plate using 3Dshell defomable planar part. Also, i modeled crack using seam tool. i have problem in defining contact between two edges of crack to transmit wave through it. can anybody help me please?

contact damping coefficient

 I'm modelling an impact of a rigid body with a deformable plate (shell elements) in the dynamic explicit analysis. When defining contact parameters, I can add the damping coefficient. I'd like to know what value is typical for this parameter? After some computations, I've found that 0,01...0,05 was rather good for my model. Is that a reasonable value?
