Multiple postdoctoral positions are available immediately for highly motivated individuals with a strong background in biophysics, biochemistry, structural biology, and/or computational methods, in the lab of Prof. Anna Tarakanova at the University of Connecticut. Duration of position is for 1-3 years. Our group’s research focuses on advancing and applying molecular, multiscale, and data-driven modeling methods to study the structure, function and mechanics of complex nanoscale and biological materials.

A PhD position is available in the research area of atomistic and multiscale modeling and simulation, in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Connecticut. We welcome highly motivated candidates from diverse backgrounds. Students studying Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science and related fields are welcome to apply.
