Visiting academic positions in mechanics of nanocomposites available at UQ and RMIT

A few visiting academic positions are now immediately available at School of Civil Engineering, the University of Queensland and School of Aerospace, Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, RMIT University, Australia. These positions are fully funded by Australian Reserach Council (ARC). The successful applicant will join our research team to work in one of the following areas: 

 (1) mechanics of composite/nanocomposite structures; 

 (2) Multiscale simulation of nanotubes/graphene reinforced composites; 

PhD Scholarship & Research Fellow at RMIT: Mechanics of Composite Structures, Micro-/nano Mechanics

Full scholarship (stipend+tuition fee waiver) for 3 PhD students and a fulltime Research Fellow (Level B) position are now available at School of Aerospace, Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, RMIT University, Australia. These positions are fully funded by Australian Reserach Council (ARC). The successful applicants will join our research team to work on an ARC Discovery Project and an ARC Linkage Project in one of the following areas:

(1) mechanics of composite/nanocomposite structures;

Full time PhD scholarship at RMIT University, Australia: Mechanics of Nanocomposites

PhD scholarship is immediately available at the School of Aerospace, Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, RMIT University, Australia. Applications are invited for two open positions in one of the following areas: (1) Mechanics of nanotubes and graphene; (2) Multiscale simulation of functionally graded or nanotubes/graphene reinforced composites; (3) Thermal buckling and post-buckling of composite structures. The research work is supported by Australian Research Council under Discovery Projects scheme.

 

Full time PhD scholarship at RMIT University, Australia

PhD scholarship (A$26,000 per year) is available at RMIT University, Australia. The
successful applicant will join our research team to work in one of the
following areas: (1) micro-/nano-mechanics; (2) mechanics of composite/nanocomposite structures; and (3) nonlinear structural dynamics and stability.

a MSc. degree in a closely related area;

PhD Scholarship at the University of Queensland, Australia

PhD scholarship (A$24,000 per year) is immediately available at the School of Civil Engineering, the University of Queensland, Australia. The successful applicant will join our research team to work in one of the following areas: (1) smart materials and composite structures; (2) mechanics of nanocomposite structures; (3) Structural damage identification; (4) Structural dynamics and stability.
