Hi everybody,

I have a very basic question. Is it possible to define the deformation gradient as a state variable in VUMAT and visualize it through SDV? If yes can you please suggest how to definr state variable? Thanks in advance!

I am running J-C plasticity VUMAT subroutine and trying to club inbuilt heat transfer attributes for temperature update, but it's not working. I would appreciate if someone can advise me if there any way to club inbuilt heat transfer with VUMAT or I have to write separate subroutine?

I am trying to write damage model using isotropic hardening given in Abaqus example. But in VUHARD section some table is given like "syield=table(1, nvalue)" and eqpl1=table(2,k1+1). I dont understand what does it mean and where to put these values? If anyone can explain, it will be a great help.

Hello all, 

Can anyone please tell me that how can I see subroutine requested output in ABAQUS odb display? I am able to print some results in .log file but I want to see results in odb display. Is it possible?

Can someone advise me the algorithm for writing VUMAT for C-L model?  I have doubts mainly in following steps.

1. Will Elastic and plastic predictor step be similar as isotropic hardening model given in VUMAT example pdf?

2. How to couple damage prediction steps?
