I want to find out cutting force in machining simulation using deform 2D. I have seen your query . I am also facing same problem. All the data shown in deform like stresses, temperature etc is absolutely correct, but how to read the cutting force. It shows load in x and y direction. i am getting the value for load in x direction near 285 N for cutting speed 100 r.p.m, feed 0.1 mm/rev and depth of cut 3mm.

If you know how to find out the values of cutting force, then please tell me.

i had design a machining models, i
have change from 4000 rpm to 40000 rpm, using WC cutting tool and AISI1045
machining... i wish to get the cutting force data... i check for load stroke
graph... and put time at X axis, and X Load for Y axis... Do this results show
cutting force?

im using couloum friction as my friction coefficient... i got almost the same X load, but the speed had change from 4000 to 40000 rpm.. i want to make for 0.01 mm/rev feed...

do the X load can be consider as cutting force?
