Acoustics 2012 Fremantle: Acoustics, Development and the Environment

Call for Papers

The Australian Acoustical Society is calling for abstracts for papers to be presented at Acoustics 2012 Fremantle, to be held at The Esplanade Hotel, Fremantle, Western Australia, from November 21 to 23.  The theme of the conference is "Acoustics, Development and the Environment".

Papers are invited on all aspects of acoustics and vibration, including (but not limited to):

  • Engineering noise control,
  • Environmental noise,
  • Acoustic measurement and metrology,
  • Vibration,
  • Occupational noise,
  • Architectural acoustics,
  • Musical acoustics,
  • Underwater acoustic modelling and measurement,
  • Marine environmental and bio-acoustics,
  • Underwater communication and sonar signal processing, and
  • Physiological and Psychological acoustics.

The deadline for abstract submission is Monday 26th March, with full papers due Monday 11th June. All papers for this conference will be subject to peer review, however individual authors can opt out of this process and this will be indicated in the proceedings.
