There is a big open question in viscoelastic crack propagation in between the Schapery solution for viscoelastic cracks, and that of Nobel prize winner DeGennes and of Persson/Brener: would you like to join the challenge???

Anyone who solves this challenge would be really appreciated by the scientific community!!!
I attach the 3 papers by Schapery, that of DeGennes, and that of Persson-Brener. Also, some relevant literature on finite size effect (part III of Schapery when E0=0, but 2 different conflicting theories by Persson where in one case he obtains the same results, but without the singularity!!!!) --- what a mess.
